Curriculum

ECDC uses the highly acclaimed Frog Street curriculum for each age group.  Frog Street is designed to meet the unique needs of childcare programs by offering a comprehensive continuum of research-based curriculum service for children ages birth to age 5.  The curriculum is available in English and Spanish and is aligned with State and National learning standards for early childhood education programs.  Frog Street also integrates many aspects of social and emotional learning (Conscious Discipline) for all age groups.

 

ECDC uses Frog Street assessment tools for monitoring children's performance in all age groups.  ECDC uses both Teaching Strategy Gold and Frog Street for children assessment in the PreK Program.
